In Search of Bests
When it comes to food, everyone’s got an opinion. We’ve all got standards and we’ve all got our preferred tastes and textures. In our regular feature, “In Search of Bests,” we’ll pick one of our favourite dishes or drinks and ask you where you think the “best” version of it is and why you like it. We’re not trying to compile a “Best of” list but we are trying to find some examples of our favourite dishes executed well and discuss what makes them so good.
If you make a great pitch for a destination in the Greater Toronto Area, there’s a good chance we’ll visit your suggested destination. That doesn’t mean those of you outside of Southern Ontario are discouraged from adding your input. Au contraire! Love of food is universal, so we’d love to hear about your favourite eating destinations regardless of where you call home. Tell us about your favourite foods and drinks where you live, or about that time you had an amazing drink on vacation.
